Jefferson Boulevard Taco Trail Walking Tour

UPDATE: The April 7 tour is full. Those still interested will be placed on the waiting list. All you need to do is hit me up via the methods below.

The second Taco Trail Walking Tour will be held Saturday, April 7. The first tour traveled along a small stretch of East Dallas, beginning at Tacos La Banqueta, which today made it into Serious Eats taco bracket sweet 16. The second tour will take on eastern parts of Oak Cliff’s Jefferson Boulevard, near Interstate 35E.

During the jaunt, we’ll visit three or four establishments—be they restaurant or a dump with adhesive surfaces.

The tour will probably start at 11 a.m., but could kick off as late as 1 p.m. Being the sophomore edition, I think a bit of tinkering is OK.

It will be moderate in size, with a maximum 15 taco tourists. People interested in joining after the tour is full will be placed on the waiting list.

I’d like to host at least one tour per month, each showcasing a section of Dallas. Future excursions will be by bike and DART.

To reserve a spot, please email me at ralatmaldonado AT gmail dot com, comment below or drop a note on the Taco Trail Facebook page.

  1. The April 7 tour is now full. Let me know if you want on the waiting list, though. I'm sure some folks will bail. Thanks everyone!
